Jesus loves you!

SMILEY FACES.jpg

WHAT CAN JESUS DO FOR YOU? Everything good!

Jesus can give you peace of mind, hope, purpose in this life and the assurance of heaven when we die. He can heal a sick body, mend a broken heart and restore a wounded spirit. He can free from addictions. He can help a struggling marriage. He can take away loneliness. Jesus can do anything!

So, if you are hurting or just tired of a meaningless life, then Jesus is the answer!

JESUS CAME INTO THE WORLD TO SHOW US GOD'S LOVE. He was anointed by the Holy Spirit to heal, set the sinner free from spiritual bondage and give all who would believe an abundant life.

He lived a sinless life and was totally righteous in God's sight. He was the sacrificial spotless lamb of God that died for the sins of the whole world.

He died on the cross for our sins and rose from the dead the third day to bring us to God.

Anyone who believes in his heart and confesses with his mouth that Jesus is the risen Lord will have their sins forgiven and be brought into a right relation to God. We can find peace of heart and mind by faith in Christ. Jesus is God's gift of salvation to fallen mankind.

WHAT'S WITH SIN?

You see, sin, which means "missing the mark", is transgressing God's moral laws. That's like stealing, lying, drunkeness, adultry and such.

The consequences of sin is separation from a holy God and a spiritual death. When we sin something or someone gets hurt. Sin always has a negative consequence.

God, on the other hand, is love, truth, goodness, righteousness and life. Things we all want, right? When separated from God we are missing true peace and life.

God chose to send his son into the world to free us from sin and bring us back into his fellowship. Jesus will fill your heart with goodness, righteousness , love and power to live the Christian life.

Since the bible says all have sinned, who then can save us? Jesus!

John 3:16 states "God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life."

Since you are a 'whosoever' then you can be saved, have a relationship with Christ now and know for sure that heaven will be your home when you die! You just need to believe!

TO RECIEVE JESUS, GOD'S GIFT OF SALVATION, DO THE FOLLOWING:

1. Realize God loves you, but sin separates you from peace and fellowship with him.

2. Believe Jesus is God's answer to your sin problem and be willing to change.

3. Confess that Jesus is God's son, the risen Savior, and believe in your heart that he will help you.

4. Pray and receive Jesus as your Savior and by faith receive God's forgiveness of your sins.

5. Ask Jesus to be your Lord and continue to follow his teachings.

THEN DO THE BIG THREE: Regularly pray, read the bible and attend a bible believing Church.

ROMANS 10:8-9 STATES "...THE WORD IS NIGH THEE, EVEN IN THY MOUTH, AND IN THY HEART: THAT IS THE WORD OF FAITH, WHICH WE PREACH; THAT IF THOU SHALT CONFESS WITH THY MOUTH THE LORD JESUS, AND SHALT BELIEVE IN THINE HEART THAT GOD HATH RAISED HIM FROM THE DEAD, THOU SHALT BE SAVED." ROMANS 10:13 CONTINUES BY SAYING "FOR WHOSOEVER SHALL CALL ON THE NAME OF THE LORD SHALL BE SAVED."

JESUS SAID IN REVELATION 3:20 "BEHOLD, I STAND AT THE DOOR, AND KNOCK: IF ANY MAN HEAR MY VOICE, AND OPEN THE DOOR, I WILL COME IN TO HIM, AND WILL SUP WITH HIM, AND HE WITH ME".

21 DAY CHALLENGE

If you have any doubts about Jesus being the Christ and the Bible being God's Word, then I invite you to take the '21 DAY CHALLENGE'! It is simple and consists of only three tasks.

First, you have to sincerely pray and ask Jesus to show you if he is really the Lord and the true way to God and heaven.

Second, read thru the Gospel of St. John by reading one of the 21 chapters every day.

Third, begin each daily reading by asking God to open up your spiritual understanding of the scriptures.

Jesus said in Matthew 7:7,8 "Ask and it shall be given you; seek and ye shall find; knock, and the door shall be opened unto you. (8) For every one that asks recieves; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened".

Timothy 2:2-3 "This is good, and pleases God our Savior, who wants all men to saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth".
